"Have You Considered"

Devotional Reading:
Of all the creatures in the world, have you ever considered why God made the platypus? It seems to be confused. It really doesn't know if it wants to be a duck or a mammal. On one hand it has feet like a duck, a bill like a duck and lays eggs like a duck. Then on the other it has fur, four paws and is warm-blooded so it is a mammal. What is it's desire? Only God knows that answer. It is the same with you and I. Imagine the heavenly host; why does God choose them? They are made in His image, they can forgive, they can pray, but they choose the wills and ways of the devil. They choose death over life. They choose to live in fear and bondage rather than to live with the Lord. Not only did the Lord create us in His image, but He breathed the very life of Creation. We have something nothing else created ever has, Divine Spirit. So when you really believe Creation, you too must believe the attributes to which we were born. Here are a few: humility, power, dominion, graciousness & eternal. Notice I did not mention worry or fear. Being created in His image would mean we were not created with a Spirit of fear or worry. God is afraid of nothing nor does God worry. So why do you and I--SIN. Today, get back to basics, back to the beginning, live today with God's Spirit of hope and understanding. Knowing that you are wonderfully made, claim what sin has stolen from you, Freedom.
