"Adore Her"

Proverbs 11:16 (HCSB) A gracious woman gains honor,...
Devotional Reading:
If you want to be a true Kingdom man, treat your wife like your queen, not like just another woman. Does your wife feel special? Do you do things for her that lets her know she is different from every other woman? Many men do little courtesies for other women they don't do anything more for their wives. But when chivalry dies, a marriage starts to die. Men, you have to make a commitment that other women may have to get in the car by themselves, but not your wife. Other women may have to open the door for themselves, but not your wife. She is your queen, so strike up the trumpets, roll out the carpet and adorn her with the glory she deserves. Be sure to pull out her chair, open her door, carry her umbrella (always in the left hand), be her escort and be ready to put your coat down so she does not have to get her self dirty near a puddle. There are so many ways we can make our wives feel special. A gift for no particular reason is a great way to tell your wife she's special to you. Your time is also a gift to your wife. You don't have to give her a new car. Just the fact that you want to take her somewhere in the old car will do.
Have you ever written your wife a note and placed it under her pillow. has she ever awakened to the sweet smell of a rose gently placed beside her in the crisp morning? Have you ever talked with her about how wonderful it is to sleep next to her...I enjoy waking up to the sunshine even when the drapes are closed in the dead of winter. I can't speak for you, but I can tell you, that I would not have it any other way. Many husbands do something special for their wives on her birthday or their anniversary; sadly that is the only time. You become stale and predictable. The key is to be spontaneous and creative in telling your wife, how much you love her. If she means that much to you, tell her...Spend time with her, talk about her not the kids or the day. Adore Her!
