"Useless Religion"

Many of us could immediately think we are talking
here about foul language, but it is so much more. The tongue, by the
way, which is the most powerful muscle in our body, and it sometimes can show an
incredible disconnect with the brain. We have all been there
! Our tongue has the power to build up and
encourage. Alternately, in an instant, can also completely tear down
and destroy another. Christians are commanded to encourage and build
up one another. We are not pleasing to God when we use our tongue to lash
out at our neighbor, a spouse, a child, co-worker, the store clerk, another
driver on the road, etc. Be on guard against unsavory words or
thoughts against your pastors and church leaders. How easy it is to gossip
and be critical, when others do not see things our way.
Keep that "wagger" in check !
