"Womb to Tomb"

Do you have it? Do you want it? What are you willing to do to get it?  The misuse of power is a constant reality. People have a tendency to sacrifice anything or anyone to attain and retain influence. How many relationships have been damaged because one person took advantage of his or her position of power? How much disappointment and heartache could be avoided if people with power had the correct perspective on how it should be exercised? The most powerful person who ever lived is Jesus Christ. He gives us the picture of the proper use of power. Although He could have commanded whatever He wanted, He chose to live a life of sacrifice and servanthood, as exemplified on the cross. In the process, He accomplished what He set out to do--to become the Savior of the world.  Because of His life, death, and resurrection, you and I can use His power for good. Now that's real power!
